Designer Candy Bar Wrappers

I love Scrapbook Paper! Especially 6x6 Paper Pads. These Paper Pads are perfect for cards and small projects. One of my favorite uses for a 6x6 Paper Pads is making these small decorative candy bar wrappers. First, take a 6x6 sheet of paper, cut it in half so each half is 3 inches long. Second, cut into one inch strips. Third, wrap the 1"x3" strip around each candy bar and attach with a glue stick. Then you have your own designer candy bar wrappers. These can be custom made for holidays, gifts, or just because. A variety of 6x6 paper pads are available at Allscrapbooksteals.com. Happy Crafting!!! Jacqueline

Christmas Gift Bags and CONTEST WINNER!!!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was really fun to be with family, but I can't believe that Christmas is right around the corner. I have already started receiving neighbor gifts (those people are really on the ball, I haven't even started my Christmas shopping...shh that will be our little secret.). I thought that in honor of Christmas, neighbors, and friends, I would share a couple of gift ideas that are inexpensive and super cute. When you make something that is packaged really nice, then it doesn't have to cost a fortune because the love shows through.

Allscrapbooksteals.com sells quite a few little novelty bags and containers that are perfect for candy and treats. Here are a couple of ideas. Gum balls in a tube with a little gift tag. M&M's in a long skinny bag are the perfect size for a stocking. Remembering those around you this time of years shows how much you care about them. Share some love today.

Oh...I almost forgot!!! Congratulations to Rebecca Atchison you are the winner of the Teresa Collins Urban Market Collection Kit. Please send your address to Allscrapbooksteals@gmail.com so that we can send out your prize. Thank you to all that entered. We loved your comments. Happy Crafting!!! Jacqueline

Keepin Cozy

Last night I called my good friend, who is also my neighbor, to ask if I could borrow a shovel so that my husband and I could shovel together since we only have one shovel.  She said she could bring it to me and the next thing I know I hear the scraping of shoveling outside.  I hurry out my front door to ask what she is doing, and her and her husband were out there with shovels and salt to help me shovel the 7 inches of snow we got that day!  I was so humbled by their kindness, they helped me at 9:30 at night shovel the whole drive!  I love the kindness and generosity that comes out around this time of year and we should all try to keep that spirit year round.

Christmas may be here and almost over, but Winter is just starting!  Echo Park Keepin Cozy is the perfect line to scrap and make cute projects with for all your winter fun.  And just because Christmas is almost done doesn't mean the gift giving has to stop.  This project would be a perfect thank you to my dear friend for helping me shovel.

Hope you enjoy the ideas and as always be sure to check out Echo Park's Blog for more ideas!

Party Ideas My Minds Eye Chalk Studio

A few weeks ago we got to celebrate my mother in-law's 65 Birthday.  My father in-law decided to have it be a surprise party and asked my husband and I to do the decorations, I knew what to use right away!  I wanted to use My Minds Eye's Chalk Studio because it has a banner already cut out and ready to assemble. It also works that it has pink in it, with it being her favorite color and all.
I put the banner together, made a special place mat just for her, put some fun cut out sayings on the tables, wrapped washi tape around the forks and got balloons and plates to match. I also made her a mini notebook using the same product. Hope you enjoy the ideas!

It was so fun to set up a party for my mother in-law, she is an amazing women and very much deserved to have a day just for her! Love you Kathy!

Introducing Doodlebug's Halloween Parade!  All of these adorable ideas below are from Doodlebug's Blog.  They always have the greatest ideas on there, I highly recommend checking it out.  There were so many to choose from to share, but a narrowed it down to my favorites.  And even better, we will have it for 25% off all week long.

On another note I am thinking of putting out a Tasty Tuesday cookbook.  I would need to compile more recipes and it will take a bit, but i was wondering if any of you would be interested in purchasing it?  Let me know your thoughts :)

Crate Paper Project

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready for some more crafting ideas!  Summer is sadly quickly coming to an end and children will be going back to school, which means more time to craft of course ;).  I'm sure you all had many adventures and took a good trip or two and are looking for a way to make a keepsake for all those wonderful memories you made.  Well this project from Crate Paper's Blog is just the thing for those memories!

For this adorable tag mini album the designer used Crate Paper The Pier.  The base of this project uses The Pier Tag Cut Outs and then it is just a matter of layering stickers and chipboard from this hot summer line.  Be sure to check out Crate Paper's Blog for more pictures of this project and more fun crafting ideas. Also this line will be 25% all week long so be sure to stock up!

Also it is the beginning of the month so that means it's giveaway time!  This month is super easy and I will even tell you what to say ;).  Tuesday is my birthday, so just wish me a happy birthday in the comments below and I will randomly pick a winner in a week, easy peasy :)!!  The winner will receive one of all the papers from this line as well as three embellishments!  Thanks again for stopping by and remember to like us on our Facebook page to spread the good word!

Washie Tape Project

I hope by now you have all made the Death By Decadence bars and ate too many to move, so you just have to sit there and craft!  Now I have you right where I want you, in creating mode ;)

We always have people asking us what Washi Tape is, how to use it, what to use it for, and why is it such a big hit.  The answer is basically it is more pliable patterned scotch tape.  It is super easy to use on any project and especially helpful for those tiny embellishments you don't want to cut a tiny piece of paper for.  In the case of this project it is helpful so you don't have to cut skinny strips of paper to wrap around these straws. And the skinny strips of paper would probably just frustrate us and make us feel resentful towards the dessert we just ate because we sure aren't feeling skinny ourselves anymore ;).

So the great thing about this project is that the pictures tell all you need to know and you have so many colors and patterns of Washi Tape to choose from right here at Allscrapbooksteals.com.  Be sure to check out Doodlebug's Blog to get more fantastic Washi Tape project ideas!

Some More Stars and Stripes

Hello my Blog followers, I have missed you!  First of all let me apologize for being absent for so long.  We were so busy moving in to our new place and had fathers day, my husbands birthday, and a very sad teething baby all going on at once.  Then on top of all that my body felt it was a good time to get very sick!  Isn't that how it always goes as a mother though ;).  I'm am still recovering, but I thought I  ought to let you all know that the Blog is still around!!

Today we are going to share just a few more Stars and Stripes ideas from Doodlebug Designs Blog.  We are going to be featuring Doodlebug Stars and Stripes in our email on Monday at 50% off, so we thought we would give you a head start on some ideas.  I love this line so much with all of its patriotic flare, I couldn't help but share some more.

First we have a more masculine layout that I really love.

And second some adorable little treat bags.
I hope this got your creative juices flowing!  Be sure to check back on Tuesday for an all new recipe for Tasty Tuesday!
