I Heart Summer Ideas
Hello again Blog followers! I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and were able to take a moment to remember those that you love that have passed, and I hope you were able to have some fun. I was lucky enough to be able to spend a lot of time with my husband (which hardly happens), my beautiful baby, and family. My husband works very hard and long hours, so it was a special treat to be able to see so much of him the past few days! With all this wonderful weather we have been having we were also able to start jogging again and it has been so great and felt so good!
I am so excited that summer is coming. I'll be honest, I have never really enjoyed summer a whole lot because I hate being hot, but, with having my baby, I am sick of trying to find fun things to do inside and so I'm excited we can now venture outside to have fun! Speaking of summer, have you seen the new Simple Stories I Heart Summer line?! It is fantastic, bright, and full of color - as summer should be. I have a few of my favorite ideas from the Simple Stories Blog, be sure to check their blog to see many more fabulous ideas!
Thanks again for all your support and thanks for stopping by!

Tasty Tuesday Better Than Anything Cake
Tasty Tuesday returns! This is a cake that I crave very often and has been a favorite of mine for years. We like to call it Better than ANYTHING Cake.
What you will need:
1 box Chocolate cake
1 can sweetened condensed milk
caramel syrup (to your taste)
1 8oz container of whip cream
2 score bars crushed up

Prepare the chocolate cake according to box instructions. When it is done, pull it out of the oven and poke holes in it. Then drizzle the sweetened condensed milk and the caramel syrup all around the cake and in the holes and all over the cake to your liking. Then let cool completely so the whip cream doesn't melt. Spread the whip cream and sprinkle the score bar on top. Serve and enjoy!
Helpful hint: you could also use Heath bar.
Again I wanted to thank all of you for the great turn out of comments we got for this giveaway and we are working on improvements. We will for sure be doing a discount code soon exclusively for our blog followers, so be sure to check back! Thank you all for stopping by!

May Giveaway Winner and A Little About Me
I am excited to announce our lucky winner for the May Giveaway is....CYNTHIA B.! Congratulations on your win! Please email your address to allscrapbooksteals@gmail.com so we can send your prize to you!
I am just floored with the turn out of comments we got this for this giveaway! It was our best turn out yet and I really appreciate all of the feedback I got from everyone. It is very helpful to know what kinds of projects you guys are looking for and what I can do to make the blog better. We are excited to get started on those changes. I also didn't realize how many people liked to follow my Tasty Tuesday, so that will definitely be sticking around!
Today I thought it would be fun to tell you all a little bit more about me, since you don't know much. First off today is a pretty special day, it is my 4 year anniversary of being married to my best friend and the greatest man I know. My husband's name is Dave and we have been together for 5 years now. He is a photographer and is going to school right now for a BFA in photography - so that is where all the great pictures of our baby come from. He is also the designer of all the emails you all get everyday for the website!
We have a little 6 1/2 month old baby named Dean and he is my pride and joy. He is growing up way to fast, he doesn't want to crawl and just wants to walk, he wants to feed himself, and he has two teeth already. I love him more and more everyday, and he is my sunshine.
I am 25 and I have tried a little bit of everything I feel like. I went to school to be an English major, then Culinary, Hospitality Management, actually graduated in Personal Fitness Training, then went back for a bit for a Dance Major. Oh, and I did Cosmetology at a tech school during High School. So like a said I have tried a lot of things and I don't regret it, now I have a little experience in a lot of fields that I have interest in. Now you know why I like to do the Tasty Tuesday, Culinary school was very fun, but I was more interested in baking and there wasn't enough of that in the program. My favorite things to do are anything with my little family, reading, baking, singing, creating and trying new restaurants. I love that I get to have a Blog for my creative outlet in baking, decorating, and scrapbooking. Most of all I love to have this Blog to get to work from home, it is the best!
So that is a little tid bit about me and I hope to let you get to know me better and that I can get to know all of you better through this Blog! Thanks for reading :)

Tasty Tuesday Philly Cheesesteak
Tonight I am excited to share a recipe for one of my favorite things to eat, Philly Cheesesteak! As usual this recipe is very easy to make and is SO Good!

What you will need:

2 lbs of eye of round steak, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 medium yellow onion, sliced
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
8-10 slices of provolone cheese
4-5 submarine rolls
optional: cheese wiz and oregano
Set your oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet saute the peppers and onion for about three minutes. Add the meat and seasonings and cook until the meat is done. Then cut the rolls in half and butter one side of the bun, place the meat mixture on the other side of the bun and put the cheese on top. At this point you can sprinkle some oregano on top of the sandwich or not it is up to you, but trust me you should it is great! Then put in the oven to melt the cheese and enjoy! Now in Philly they put cheese wiz on top, now I don't like it but my mother in law loves it! This is seriously one of my favorite things to eat and I hope you enjoy it! :)

Freestyle Page Layout
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and is hopefully sharing the joy of having warmer weather! I even went out today and bought shorts for my baby to get ready for summer! First I wanted all of you to share in my excitement, my baby turned six month old yesterday! I can not believe it, it feels like just last week I was bringing the little bundle home. Yesterday we decided to have a little "half" birthday party for him with half a cake. I even let him try a little lick of the frosting, he loved it! Now he is sitting up, trying to crawl, and his first tooth just broke through! Motherhood is indeed amazing.

Now for the second bit of good news, we are excited to share this new layout idea from Karen. She does such amazing work and I hope to see more from her soon! This layout if from our Teresa Collins Freestyle kit. It is a $24 value and we are selling it for the low low price of $4.99!! Amazing!
I hope you enjoy this page layout and again hopefully we will see more ideas from her soon! I hope we will see from me soon as well. ;) Check back later tonight for an all new Tasty Tuesday!

Tasty Tuesday Hambuger Mushroom Gravy
With all this dreary, cuddle up rainy weather we have been having here in Utah, I wanted to share a comfort food from my childhood with you. I know that my mother cooked for me growing up, but for some reason I can't remember very many of the dishes! Don't get me wrong, my mother is a wonderful cook and taught me how to cook - I just have a terrible memory. This dish is one of the few that I remember...and love! This Hamburger Mushroom Gravy is creamy, delicious and one of the easiest things you will ever cook!

What you will need:
1Tbs olive oil
1 small red onion
(or any onion of your choosing)
1 lb hamburger
2 Tbs flour
1/4 c milk
1 8oz can of mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Start with the olive oil and onion in a large skillet. Cook on high for about 3 minutes, just until they start getting soft. Then, add your hamburger and brown. When the hamburger is done sprinkle on the flour and mix. Next, add the milk, cream of mushroom, and the mushrooms (don't drain the water out of the can, add it to the pan as well). Then just mix up until well combined and heated through. Serve on top of mashed potatoes with a side of veggies, it's as easy as that!! I have never tried it but I am sure it would also be good over pasta. I hope it warms you up like it did for me, enjoy!
