Silhouette Inspiration: Garden Markers
Trust us. It is exasperating when you forget which pepper or tomato plant is which. And you will forget! Solve the problem by creating these fun garden markers. If nothing else, they will make your garden more picturesque!

Supplies:

Instructions:
  1. Open your Scrap Calligraphy and LW Classic font in Silhouette Studio®. Write out all the veggies you have and size to fit your garden markers. Remember to mirror your text.
  2. Load the black Silhouette heat transfer material into your Silhouette machine with the shiny side down.
  3. Select heat transfer material in the Cut Settings window, adjust the blade, and send it to your Silhouette.
  4. Unload your heat transfer from the machine and weed out the excess heat transfer material.
  5. Flip the design over and place it on the garden markers. Place any scrap fabric material over the markers and press with an iron for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Allow it to cool slightly and carefully remove the plastic backing.
  7. Repeat the process with your design of choice and the teal heat transfer.
Don't forget to download the free design of the week! As usual, it's pretty cute.

Carta Bell Soak Up the Sun Tutorial

With summer just around the corner Carta Bella Soak up the Sun is the perfect addition to your scrapbook supplies. So many times I have supplies and don't know what to do with them. I will be honest. I have steered clear of die-cuts because I didn't understand how to use them. I found this great tutorial on Carta Bella's blog and I wanted to share it with you. These dies can be used on any die-cutting machine and the washi tape helps hold it in place.  Check out all of Echo Park and Carta Bella Designer Dies at Allscrapbooksteals.com. Silhouette Inspiration: Mouse Pad
The living room isn't the only place in the house to decorate. The computer room can have a style of its own as well! Try prettifying your mouse pad with these trendy "painted" days of the week.

Supplies:
·  Silhouette white smooth heat transfer
·  Days of the Week design
·  Mouse pad
·  Iron
·  Scrap of fabric
Instructions:
1.    Measure your mouse pad and draw a basic shape in Silhouette Studio® with the same dimensions.
2.    Open up the Days of the Week design, ungroup, resize, and arrange the words however you’d like within that shape.
3.    Select the words, right click, and flip horizontally so that the words are backwards.
4.    Load the heat transfer shiny side down into your Silhouette, select heat transfer from the cut settings menu, and click cut.
5.    Once it’s cut out, weed out all of the unwanted heat transfer, flip it over on top of the mouse pad, cover with a scrap of fabric, and press with a hot iron.
6.    Carefully remove the plastic, and you’re done!

Basic Supplies when you need them.

My scrapbook hobby has come in handy on more than one occasion. There have been many last minute school projects that I have used my supplies on. I am sure many of you are aware of the 9 p.m. "Mom I have a project due tomorrow".  My question is always "How long have you known about this? and Why is this the first I am hearing about it". Nevertheless, I am grateful to have basic supplies like cardstock, tape runners, glue, ribbon, and baker's twine always on hand.

I recently used these supplies on Easter to give my baskets a finishing touch. In the past I have used clear bags for my Easter Baskets.  All of my children know what their basket looks like, but this year I thought it would be fun to wrap them in colored plastic. I realized that this required me to make some tags. After I made some tags, I started looking at ribbon that would compliment the colors I had chosen. I was so thankful to have the perfect colors of Baker's twine on hand. That was the perfect finishing touch to my Baskets.

Right now at Allscrapbooksteals.com, Cardstock Packs are on sale. Stock up on your basic supplies today. Happy Crafting!!! Jacqueline

Online Scrapbooking Stores: Tips for Making Handmade Greeting Cards

Bouquets, diamonds, and grand gestures aren’t always the best ways to show someone how you feel. A thoughtful gift is worth more than anything money could buy, especially if it’s customized for the one you love. Sometimes small, inexpensive presents are the ones that are appreciated the most, and even something as simple as a card could be used to express boundless emotions.
