June Giveaway

 

We just spent two days attending a Blogging Conference in Utah and have come away with tons of ideas to improve our blog.  We'll be adding some new features and changing things up a bit.  It's going to be a lot of fun.

One thing we won't be changing is our monthly giveaway.  This month's giveaway includes a gorgeous ribbon box to help keep you organized, and a bright green album that you can fill up with all your summer memories.  

Here are the rules:

1.  This giveaway is only open to residents of the United States and Canada.  We looked into shipping for other countries and it is just too expensive.  This giveaway is also void where prohibited.

2.  Enter by going to our website All Scrapbook Steals, and leaving a comment at the end of this post telling us about your favorite new product.  Or, you can just leave us a comment about your favorite crafting product without stopping by the site.

3.  Receive a second entry if you post about our giveaway on your blog or website.  Please leave the link to your post in the comments section so we can verify your second entry.  You can also post on Facebook or Twitter about the giveaway to earn a second entry.

4.  Entries will be accepted until Midnight PST on June 10th.

5.  Winner will be randomly chosen from all eligible entries received by midnight June 10th by random.org.

6.  Winner will be announced on June 11th here on the blog.

7.  The winner has 72 hours to contact us with their mailing address or else a new winner will be chosen.

Steal of the Week

May Cards

It's that time of the month again, time for card group.  Of course I had to make my cards this month using my fabulous new QuicKutz letterpress.  They were much easier to make now that I have a little bit of experience and I think they turned out great!  You can find all your letterpress needs for 25% off here.  Happy Crafting.

Letterpress Love

First off let my give you all a quick update on my husband.  He had surgery last Thursday to remove the new tumor growth.  The surgery went really well.  There have been a few complications since, but he is now home and doing much better.  Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers for our family at this difficult time.

One of the nice things about Russell's surgery was that my mom came to visit and she brought me a lovely QuicKutz Letterpress machine.  We have had a lot of wonderful people doing amazing things for us for the last few weeks and I have a ton of thank you cards I need to get out.  I figured I might as well try out my new toy and make the thank you cards myself.

I was quite intimidated by the whole process at first, but once I got started it couldn't have been easier.  The best tip I can give you when starting to use your letterpress for the first time is to get a wet paper towel and make sure you wipe off any ink that isn't on the print plate where you want it.  That way you won't end up with smudges.  I had so much fun printing my first set of cards and now I can't wait to plan other beautiful projects.
