I'm not a gardener, although I wish I were. I think about doing it, but there is something about putting my hands in the dirt that I can't deal with. Some say it's relaxing, but I can't see it. So, instead I like to walk in nature's gardens. I love going down the local trails and seeing all of the green return to it's full glory and watching all the flower buds bloom and blossom.

ReplyDeleteI love to plant everything and anything!! geraniums last all summer long and really spread out in my planters. I also like to plant herbs like basil and cilantro for summer cooking - yummy! I love the smell when my husband mows a bit of them "by accident" and the air is infused with the sharp aroma of fresh herbs -

ReplyDeleteMy favorite springtime activity is to take pictures of my kids in the beautiful fields of blue bonnets so I have something super cute to scrap!!
ReplyDeleteAfter a long, cold winter, I can't wait to work in my flower garden. What a delight to see the tiny, green buds poking through the moist, brown earth and knowing that I'll soon be treated to a kaleidoscope of yellow, purple, and pink spring flowers!
ReplyDeleteI have to plant them in the fall of course, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE tulips and daffodils!! Unfortunately, we have deer that eat them all. :( So, this year I bought some potted tulips to enjoy in my house!
ReplyDeleteI love spring because this means I can head off to the park to walk every night again. It is so much better than being couped up in the basement.
