Sorry I have been a little absent the past few weeks! I had a sick infant, and wasn't feeling too good myself. But I am back, feeling good, and have a cute new Valentine's Day project for you! Plus, it is time to do this months Giveaway!!!
For this project, I essentially used the same concept I used for the Christmas Advent calendar for a cute countdown of "14 Reasons Why I Love You". This was very easy to put together, and it was fun too. I used the Doodlebug Lovebirds and the Echo Park Love Story lines, I couldn't decide which to use, I love them both so much, so I used both!
I started by cutting 14 different patterns to use, I cut them 4x6 and put them in the order I wanted to use them. Then, I cut a bunch of 2x4 pieces of the same paper and a few squares that were 3x3 and did a little mixing and matching to coordinate with the cute pages.
Some other products I used were: numbers from the Echo Park Love Story Alpha Stickers, as well as Doodlebug Lovebirds Cardstock Stickers, Beetle Black Love Letters Stickers, Bubblegum Heart Pearls, and the adorable Mini Love Notes.
Lastly, I tied it all together with a few different colors of Bakers Twine from the Doodlebugs Valentine's Assortments Pack.
This little project was fun to make, and I enjoyed thinking of 14 special reasons why I love my husband to share with him!
Now, to enter to win this months Giveaway please comment below of your favorite things about Valentine's Day. Weather you have a special someone to share it with or not, think of somethings you like about this special holiday! I hope you and your Valentine enjoy this project as much as we do!
Happy Crafting!

ReplyDeleteNow that my kids are older, they enjoy making Valentine cards for friends and family. Of course this means they raid my craft supplies! :)
Sinda- this is sooo adorable. Something to be cherished for sure. My fav part of V-day is still giving out the heart-shaped box of candy to my hunsband and my daughter...not that I like chocolate...ha! But I do like the whole 'idea' of the heart-shaped box.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to document the reasons you love your hubby! :) Such great Valentine/lovey papers too. I like Valentine's Day because it helps us give a little extra love to the special people in our lives! :) This year I took a cute picture of my boys holding up a Love sign that I plan to send to family.

DeleteWe actually don't do anything special for Valentine's Day. We both believe that it's more important to show the little ways we love each other every day.
ReplyDeleteI do, however, enjoy the decorations and color combinations. The discounted chocolates afterward aren't bad either. :)
Hi All!
ReplyDeleteI love Valentine's Day because it a day to SLOW DOWN and appreciate the ones you love in your life. My main squeeze and I have been together for 18 years and we need this day to say, STOP, and appreciate each other. We have to wonderful dogs and when we opened our "Valentines from the dog" cards, he and I got the EXACT same cards for each other, lol, from both dogs!
The project is a GREAT way to say, I LOVE YOU. I hope everyone's day was special.

DeleteI love remembering the special things we do for each other. Not the planned dinner/date, but the unexpected call or text just to say I love you; a love note tucked in a purse; or a special treat in a lunch box.
ReplyDeleteI like that it is just a day to remember and tell those you love how wonderful they are!
ReplyDeleteI love the candy and chocolate of Valentine's Day--and the sales the day after!
ReplyDeleteI love that it is a day for LOVE!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute.My favorite thing-sharing the love with my family and seeing them smile.
ReplyDeleteI love Valentine's Day because it gives people that don't normally show their feelings an excuse to let someone know they care, even if it's just by giving a simple valentine with a simple note.
