Scrapbooking Can Be A Great Hobby

Recent technological advancements mean that many devices now have the ability to take photographs. Gadgets like smartphones, tablets, and mp3 players have built-in cameras. This way you'll never miss a moment, and you can always pull out your gadget to capture a memory for posterity. Gadgets with built-in cameras are not just convenient for photography aficionados looking to add to their collection, as they're also convenient for those who want to preserve their memories. Digital photographs can be transferred to computers, hard drives, and can be uploaded online.

Two page Layouts

Thank you again to everyone who participated in the the monthly giveaway!  I hope you are not all sick of me going on and on about Halloween, but I really just love it so much.  The colors, the skeletons and witches, the scary stories and movies, and the crisp air, I love it all!  I promise you only have to deal with me and my Halloween craziness for just a bit longer then we will move on to things like Fall, Thanksgiving and of course Christmas.

So I was searching for something to share with you loyal Blog followers and was looking at My Minds Eye's Blog when I came across some wonderful two page layouts.  As I was looking at the talented work of their designers I realized we have not shared a two page layout in a long time and it was about time we did.  Here we have an amazing Halloween layout, I may be biased because it has to do with Halloween, but i do think it is really great nonetheless.  This layout was made using My Minds Eye Happy Haunting.

The details in this are just outstanding, I love the glitter, and I hope you enjoyed the inspiration.  Make sure to check out My Minds Eye's Blog for more two page layout ideas!

Tasty Tuesday Homemade Oreos

Milk may have a new favorite out Oreos!  As you all know I love to bake so it was to bake something so easy and so delicious (seriously I ate at least seven in one day).  My husband and I love Oreo cookies, but sometimes it is nice to have a cookie that is a little bigger and softer.

What you will need:
2 boxes Devils Food cake mix
4 eggs
2/3 C. Vegetable Oil
1 container cream cheese frosting
(or your own homemade frosting)

Preheat over to 350 degrees and grease a cookie sheet.  Mix cake mix, 4 eggs, and oil together in a bowl, you may have to mix it by hand near the end of the cake mix isn't combining all the well.  Then make the dough into little balls with about 2 Tbls of the mix.  Bake for 8 minutes.  Let cool completely and spread frosting on one cookie and top with the other to make a sandwich.  Yields about 60 cookies (30 sandwiches) depending on the size of your cookies.  Enjoy.

These would be be perfect in those little Teresa Collins treat bag from the last post!  Don't forget to enter in our blog giveaway, it goes to this weekend.

Essential Tools and Goods When Making a Scrapbook

A scrapbook is more than just reams of pages that contain a collection of hastily-put-together “memories”. Those who value these memories so much put a great deal of work into their scrapbooks, essentially turning them into works of art. Of course, different people have different styles, designs, and ideas that they want for their scrapbooks, but all of them require the same basic tools and supplies to make them a reality.

Doodlebug Halloween Parade

I'm oh so excited that Fall is really almost here!  Football Starts next week and it is now officially less than two months away from my favorite holiday, Halloween.  And only a month until I can decorate for Halloween, eeek!  I am all about the creepy and everything scary for this wonderful holiday but, now having a child I can more fully appreciate the cuter side of Halloween and Doodlebug's new line is simply perfect.

Introducing Doodlebug's Halloween Parade!  All of these adorable ideas below are from Doodlebug's Blog.  They always have the greatest ideas on there, I highly recommend checking it out.  There were so many to choose from to share, but a narrowed it down to my favorites.  And even better, we will have it for 25% off all week long.

On another note I am thinking of putting out a Tasty Tuesday cookbook.  I would need to compile more recipes and it will take a bit, but i was wondering if any of you would be interested in purchasing it?  Let me know your thoughts :)
