ReplyDeleteFireworks!!
ReplyDeleteWe have no family other than the 5 of us within 13 hours of where we life. Our temps are always close to 100 and there are no cool breezes, there are no firework shows because of high fire threat, so my fav thing to do is stay inside and enjoy the air conditioning. See there is a bright side.
ReplyDeleteSpending a funfilled day with my grandchildren and watching their eyes light up when watching the fireworks!
ReplyDeleteCooking out with family ending the evening watching fireworks.
ReplyDeleteQT with my little fam & enjoying a day of snacks, drinks & BBQ before watching the fireworks with my little ones & seeing the wonder on their faces!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is fireworks with the family!!
ReplyDeleteWhen i was younger it was fireworks, for sure. But I love the BBQ/ family time more now that I'm older. I still enjoy a few fireworks, but I hate how many fires and injuries are caused by them each year. Plus, it seems like a lot of people waste ridiculous amounts of money on them. I guess I'm a party pooper that way, lol.
ReplyDeleteI also feel bad for the service men and women who have flashbacks when fireworks go all night. :-(
My favorite activity is waving sparklers around - and hanging out with family.
ReplyDeleteMy parents were married on July 4th, so my all time favorite 4th of July activity has always been celebrating their anniversary!
ReplyDeleteI love to go to the Park to see all of the 4th of July activities, have a picnic and watch the fireworks!!
ReplyDelete(That Doodlebug is too darn Cute) Thanks.
I love, love being with my family and one of the things we like to do when we can is to go to the BYU campus for the Stadium of Fire programs. They are awesome and some of the times we even get a fly by with some jet planes. The fireworks are the best anywhere and we always have a ton of pictures to scrapbook afterward.

WE love our hometown parade and fireworks show.
ReplyDeleteThe fireworks are my favorite! Thanks for a great giveaway!!

I love a parade! My MIL lives right on the parade route for a fairly large suburban parade (it usually lasts about an hour and a half!) We arrive before the streets are closed off and grandma and grandpa, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews all hang out and set up the perfect viewing spot. With easy access to cold drinks, snacks, bathrooms and a place to cool off it couldn't be more perfect!
ReplyDeleteOur tradition is to have a family BBQ, swimming for the kids and then fireworks after! Love the 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteHi, My favorite July 4th activities include celebrating my youngest sister's birthday. Yes, she's our little firecracker...LOL Also, fireworks with our family at the football field in our little town. A great time with family and seeing friends as well.

Family get togethers are the best!
ReplyDeleteCooking out...watching fireworks on TV from all over the US (Capital 4th, Boston, Atlanta, and where ever else I can find when surfing). I can also go out in my yard and see the higher fire works from several of the surrounding cities (all the noise drives my dog crazy).

We don't celebrate July 4th, we celebrate July 1st, being Canada Day. Our tradition is going into town to partake in the activities--swimming, food tasting contests, magic shows,Strawberry social (YUM!) etc...all the works, with fireworks being done at night. It's always a great time!
