What a cute, fun kit! I love bright colors, too...but I never buy them to scrap with. I think it's about time to try scrapping with them (hint, hint). My favorite part of the Easter holiday is having dinner with my family. I love the bread my darling 73 year old mom still makes, the ham and spring vegetables, homemade applesauce (frozen when apples were plentiful) and the wonderful dessert I whip up.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the Easter Season is hiding easter eggs for my kids! Now that they are a bit older, after finding all the eggs, they like to hide them again themselves and go hunting again!! Very cute, though a few times we have found a lost chocolate egg or 2! hahaha
ReplyDeleteEaster means spring, the dormant, dreary winter is over. Everything greens up, the sun is warm, and we are given eternal life. If the weather permits I'll have an Easter egg hunt outdoors for the grandkids. I Live in WI and won't be having one this year.

It seems as though everything is reawakening spiritually, environmentally, and creatively for me during this time. Each year at this season I begin looking at the world through brighter eyes.

ReplyDeleteFlowers! Easter usually signals the start of spring around here which means flowers are blooming (or starting to anyway). Our little town is planted with thousands of daffodils and the bright yellow just makes me smile in anticipation of summer sunshine. ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of Easter is coloring the eggs with the kids. Now that they are a bit older, they are getting creative doing stripes and using crayon first as a resist technique.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of Easter is: our community has a prayer breakfast the week prior to Easter. Each day a speaker shares their life with us, another person will share some songs and we gather to celebrate the true reason for Easter.

I think what I like best is the overall time of year- Spring is coming or near, a time of renewal for not only the weather but for ouselves as well, planning our garden, enjoying some Easter goodies, planning a dinner with the extended family, new CHA scrap supplies...lol! And who can forget- finally getting those dreaded tax returns DONE. ha!

My favorite part of Easter is watching my sons hunt for their baskets! The Easter Bunny is VERY sneaky, tricky, and not nice about hiding places.
