Amy Tangerine Plus One is on sale today at
Allscrapbooksteals.com. The
Embroidery Kits that go along with
Amy Tangerine lines are really cool, but some do not know what to do with them. Here is an example taken from
American Crafts Blog. This tutorial explains how the
Embroidery Kits work.
Use the Amy Tangerine Embroidery Stencil Kit to create 3-dimensional, textures on cards, layouts or other DIY projects. Check out our tutorial for inspiration: |
Lay cardstock over protective mat. Place stencil on top and carefully pierce paper using needle. |
Check that holes have been pierced clean through. |
Before you begin, tie a knot at one end of the string.
Begin threading from the back of the card. Pull thread all the way through until the knot is snug against the back of the paper. |
Push the needle through the next hole (hole 2). Carefully pull thread to create stitch. |
Stitch upward through the next hole (hole 3). Pull thread until snug. |
Stitch downward through hole 2 and pull thread all the way through. |
Continue stitching all around the plane until complete. |
If you want to include the heart as shown, repeat threading steps. Once you have finished stitching, carefully cut out the plane. Be sure to leave a 1/8" border. Create card and attach plane using dimensional adhesive. |
